The days before the conference (23/06 night) it is the São João Festival, the most important night of the year in Porto!
Eat tons of grilled sardines, grilled peppers, caldo verde (the famous Portuguese green broth soup) and fresh tomato salad. The meat lovers usually go for grilled spare ribs, or for some beautiful bifanas (pork sandwiches). Watch the firework on Luís I bridge at midnight.
