PAEE/ALE'2025 - International Conference on Active Learning in Engineering Education

PAEE/ALE’2025 edition will be dedicated to empowering engineering educators and staff from higher education in general, to innovate and implement active learning environments. The event focuses on supporting professional development, equipping teachers with tools and methodologies to create more engaging, student-centered learning experiences.

This conference is a unique opportunity to connect, collaborate, and drive innovation in higher education, fostering impactful teaching and learning for the future. 

The conference merges two international events: the International Symposium on Project Approaches in Engineering Education (PAEE), organized by the PAEE association since 2009, and the Active Learning in Engineering Education Workshop (ALE), organized by Active Learning in Engineering Education Network since 2000. PAEE/ALE’2025 will be the tenth collaboration of the two communities.

PAEE and ALE have been organized in different parts of the world to enhance Active Learning, Problem and Project-Based Learning in Engineering Education, promoting through the active involvement of participants in hands-on sessions, workshops, debates, industry panels, poster and paper sessions, and student project awards.
